Sonoma County Residential Remodel
At Carrington Construction we love lifelong friends and repeat clients. On this residence we have completed several projects. The photos show a blend of the first two projects.
The home exterior and interior were both a focus. On the exterior, WUI soffit vents and painting were needed. The home had difficult access and hard to reach areas. A custom scaffolding was erected and the teams began the work.
The interior was in need of much renovation. With the help of designer Jolene Lidner of JL Design, the transformation began. The kitchen, laundry and two upstairs bathrooms were removed and replaced. The cabinetry was designed and the bathrooms and bar doors were finished with Tambour. The countertops, Neolith with large square edges. The tile backsplash developed with hand made tiles. All walls were finished with a level 5 smoothwall. The beams were originally all redwood. Once wrapped and painted the beams took on a whole new look. The interior of the home was painted and lighting designed throughout. The fireplace was wrapped in Neolith slabs as was the hearth. Cabinetry was made for both left and right of the fireplace and existing cabinetry in entry refinished. Maple hardwood floors were added and an A.V. system was completed this beautiful home.

Shiloh Residential Remodel
The cottage ridge home remodel was quite a transformation.
Originally, the home was a Tuscan style home that had many issues to address. For starters, the exterior stucco shell was completely cracked and faded, woodpeckers had destroyed the windows throughout the home, structural beams were falling free from ridge and the lighting was very dark. The clients desired a more modern feel throughout.
The updating of the home started with the exterior. All new Pella windows with metal frames to deter the woodpeckers. New stucco with an anti fracture membrane to avoid future cracking on the home. For the interior, lighting and home automation switches throughout. Next was the removing the heavy textured walls and round corners to square corners and level 5/6 smoothwall finish. Wide plank hardwood flooring replaced the heavy tile, new cabinetry, countertops tile backsplashes and a stacked stone fireplace finish. All ceiling beams in the main room have been wrapped in rift sawn White Oak. The audio visual experience began in the new media room and was completed with speakers throughout the home. We installed automated shades in the primary and media rooms that retracted into the ceiling. The outdoor beauty was brought in to the home through a 24’ wide door that opened to face the valley. Once on the exterior patio, the new ceiling, lighting fans and heaters transformed the outdoor experience and created a perfect entertainment area.

Camino Alto Commercial Construction
About This Project:
The design and structural team:
Architect: Raker Architects
Engineer: ZFA Structural Engineers
When Carrington Construction was first brought to the project, we were hired to repair a chronic roof and siding leak. The leak went on for years and was a bone of contention. After a short investigation we realized the building was in great risk of failure. The owners agreed to fix the problems and upgrade the building.
The repair was very involved and required the removal of the all structural beams, interior and exterior shoring, installation of steel HSS columns and steel fabrication.
